An MoU for cooperation in overseas power sector was signed online between NTPC and Inter Rao Export LLC, Russia as one of the twenty-eight MoUs signed during the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit. President of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, paid a working visit to New Delhi on 06 December 2021 for the 21st India – Russia Annual summit with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya (Director- Projects), NTPC and Mr. Maxim Sergeev, (Director General), Inter Rao Export LLC, Russia for cooperation in taking up project development, capacity building, and consultancy assignments outside India.

Ms. Renu Narang- ED (Finance), Mr. M K Srivastava- ED(Engineering), Mr. N M Gupta Head (IBD), and Mr. Sunil Kumar- Manager (IBD) from NTPC side, and Mr. Vladimir Kapitonov, Head of Marketing and Mr. Yuri Malyshev, Head of Business Development Department from Inter Rao Export LLC, Russia side were present during the occasion.
